Most comprehensive cosmetic surgical procedures in Hawaii
Do you have unattractive spider veins or varicose veins? A cosmetic procedure can improve your appearance.
There are a number of non-surgical and surgical procedures that lessen the appearance of spider veins and varicose veins or remove them entirely. The best treatment for you depends on the location of the troublesome veins, as well as their size.
At Cosmetic Centers of Hawaii, we offer a variety of procedures to treat spider veins and varicose veins. We will examine you and discuss the best option for you based on the condition of your veins. Our goal is always to obtain the best possible result with the least discomfort.
Here are the vein removal procedures we offer:
Laser Vein Treatments are most often used for broken blood vessels and spider veins on the face. They are the gold standard for these kinds of veins and are very effective. At Cosmetic Centers of Hawaii, we have an array of state-of-the-art lasers in order to choose the best device for your case. Often, only one or two treatments are required to eliminate or minimize the appearance of your spider veins.
Sclerotherapy is considered to be the best cosmetic treatment for eliminating troublesome veins of the legs. Most spider veins respond to Sclerotherapy in 3-6 weeks, and larger veins respond in 3-4 months. In some cases, several treatments are necessary. There are two kinds of Sclerotherapy:
Micro-Phlebectomy (Vein Removal) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure in which portions of varicose veins are removed through tiny incisions. The incisions are so small, in fact, that no stitches are required. The procedure is performed under a local anesthetic, often with sedation.
VNUS Closure is also a minimally invasive procedure that involves inserting a catheter into a vein. The vein is then heated using radiofrequency, which causes it to close. Just as in Sclerotherapy, once the vein has been closed, it will eventually disappear, and blood flow will move to other veins. Like Micro-Phlebectomy, this procedure is performed under a local anesthetic, often with sedation, and no stitches are required.
You no longer need to live with unsightly veins – today's technologies offer you many cosmetic options!
