Laser Treatments
Dr. Stover is pleased to offer the most extensive variety of cosmetic skin laser options on the Big Island and probably in all of Hawaii. Dr. Stover has many years of laser training and experience. Because our laser centers have multiple different lasers, Dr. Stover is uniquely qualified to tailor your laser skin treatment to your particular problem. During your consultation we will evaluate your skin and determine the best lasers for treatment to make your skin smoother, clearer and more youthful. In some cases, multiple lasers will be used to maximize your outcome. Below is an outline of the lasers we have and what each one does.
Laser Genesis
A nonablative laser to rejuvenate and improve scarring and redness in a subtle fashion. Ideal after minor skin surgeries to minimize redness and scarring.
Fraxel
A more aggressive semi-ablative laser to smooth skin, decrease pore size, treat pigmentation and treat acne scarring.
IPL Photofacial
Iintense pulses of light delivered to reduce pigmentation (age spots, sun damage, freckles) and redness caused by many skin conditions, including rosacea. We offer 2 separate types of IPL lasers.
Laser Hair Removal
We offer 2 separate laser modalities (Nd-Yag and Diode) to remove unwanted hair. We are proud to offer the only Diode laser on the Big Island. This laser is ideal for treating all hair colors, including light colored hair such as light brown, reddish-brown, blond, but not white hair.
Laser Hair Removal Combination Package

Spider Vein Therapy
An elegant way of removing unwanted spiders veins using Nd-Yag laser and IPL. No needles or support hoses required.

Ideal for those patients looking for faster results. This laser treats deep wrinkles, acne scars, wrinkles around the mouth and around the eyes. This is the latest advancement in minimal downtime, fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing for aging skin.

Deep FX--Fractional CO2
DeepFX is a revolutionary fractional laser technology for aged, sun-damaged or scarred skin. The low downtime procedure uses fractional CO2 laser micro-beams to precisely target the deep dermal layers of the skin. This stimulates a cascade of healing responses that lead to tissue regeneration and new collagen formation throughout the entire treatment area.
