The Fraxel laser delivers the state of the art in skin rejuvenation. Dr. Stover uses the Fraxel laser to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, even skin texture, fade brown spots and tighten skin. It is excellent for smoothing the lines around the mouth, eyes and reducing the scarring of acne. It will rejuvenate your skin in so many ways, turning back the clock on damage from time, the sun and acne. It is excellent for diminishing red and white stretch marks. Dr. Stover also uses the Fraxel laser to smooth post surgical scars all over the body.

The Fraxel laser delivers discrete parcels of energy (Pixels) in a fractional fashion, treating about 20% of the skin in each session and leaving about 80% unaffected, allowing for a rapid recovery (3-5 days). Make-up can be applied to reddish skin immediately after treatment. For best results, Dr. Stover will recommend 3-5 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart, with an additional treatment yearly for maintenance. Maximum improvement is seen 3 to 6 months after your last treatment.
