Anesthesia Options
All patients want to be comfortable during any injection or other procedure. Dr. Stover offers many options to keep you safe and comfortable. Dr. Stover is trained and experienced in various anesthesia techniques. You can discuss with him options including oral premedication, nitrous oxide, local anesthesia, light IV sedation or deep IV sedation. Many simpler procedures such as injection of fillers can be performed with simple local anesthesia, but for surgical procedures, Dr. Stover will administer IV sedation. Dr. Stover typically performs more invasive procedures such as facelift with an anesthesiologist in either his Kona, Waimea or Hilo offices.
