About the Big Island
The Big Island of Hawaii is the newest of the Hawaiian Islands geologically and offers a diverse landscape. We have world class tropical beaches, lush rainforests, green rolling hills, expansive cattle ranches, snow capped mountains (in winter), active volcanos and dry desert landscapes. There are plenty of exciting places to stay, from fabulous resorts to modest inns to quaint B and Bs. There is something for everyone. Dr. Stover has offices on the west side of the island in Kona, on the east side in Hilo and in the middle in Waimea.
